Been doing past papers for my final maths exam in complex analysis this Friday. Two thirds of the marks are for eight small problems, but my difficulty is it takes me approx half an hour to do each which is a problem given it's a three hour exam. At absolute best after lots of practice I might achieve twenty minutes each. Even then, that's two hours forty minutes. I have no idea how people get the entire paper done, you'd need to clear those small problems in less than fifteen minutes each, leaving an hour for the two big problems, neither of which are problem free. Indeed, even the small problems are not problem free, I'm only getting about half of them right so far :(
