Friday 24th June 2016: 6.31am. Very bad news from Britain this morning for Ireland. Taxes will have to rise, I'd expect the housing market here will slide, we will suffer disproportionately in the short term. The only place which will have it much worse again will be Northern Ireland, I can see an economic collapse up there now. Wonderful :( The only bright spot will be this will be very very good for Ireland medium to long term. I expect we will see huge inward investment (and refugees) from Britain as people flee that sinking ship, and Ireland is the most logical lifeboat. Still, a dark day, and a difficult year ahead.
