Upgraded to android 5.0. Relatively seamless and no problems with crashing Google apps after which I think is actually a first ever. To succeed you have to undo any custom bootloaders before it will work, and then after enabling root takes considerable effort (patching the kernel which no longer lets root "take hold"). Kinda annoyed it took a lot longer than expected, I lost quite a few work hours, I had thought I could get work done as it worked in the background :(
