Persuaded the bin man to let me chuck about fifty large flattened cardboard boxes into the back of his bin lorry today (in Ireland waste collection is privatised and the crew operate a very tight schedule, they can personally lose wages if they exceed their time quota, so they tend to not be accommodating about anything not in a bin). I actually jammed his squashing mechanism briefly such was the amount of cardboard ... But now all the storage boxes from the relocation to and from Canada are gone. The extra space yielded in the garage is palpable, and is especially good seeing as winter is coming and the garage floods regularly so I would have been facing a pile of soggy cardboard soon ... So that's another chore I'd been putting off for months done yay!
